Buy leading brands of split system air conditioners. Also known as a "wall split" a split system air conditioner is a solution to cool or warm a single room in your home or office. The split system itself is a refrigerative form of air conditioner whose components are in two key parts: an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The indoor unit contains the evaporator component and the outdoor unit houses the compressor.

The inside unit, what you see and interact with inside, is generally mounted high on the wall and controlled via remote and spreads conditioned air out evenly infront of it. Normally you can adjust the temperature and change the systems mode from cool, heat, fan (and fan speed) and others depending on the manufacturer. The inside and outside units are linked with copper pair coil transferring refrigerant.

Choosing the right size

Make sure you choose the right size split system for the room you are installing them into. Their size/capacity is measured in kW. If you choose something that doesn't have enough power for the size of the room, it won't be able to heat or cool it properly, but at the same time don't choose something too powerful as then the unit will be constantly turning itself off and on again increasing wear, shortening it's useful life, and not being very energy efficient.
